Campout Boykin Springs April 18/19

We are heading to Boykin Springs for our April outing… which involves swimming, fishing, and creek running. Details at Monday night’s meeting.

Troop Elections April 20th

Permission slips and letters to run are due at the April 13th Meeting. Make your vote count. Details at Monday night’s meeting.

Canoeing Campout May 16/17

Village Creek, if the water is right, there is a backup plan if it’s not.

Memorial Day Rotary Flag Pick-Up!

NO TROOP MEETING MAY 25th

May 25 is Memorial Day and another opportunity for your Troop 122 Scout to earn money for your scout accounts by picking up Rotary flags.

Nine teams are needed to pick up flags across Beaumont.

A team consisting of a driver, a scout, and a navigator is also helpful.

A pickup or SVU that can hold 40 ten-foot-long poles is needed.

Scouts can wear a troop t-shirt for this event.

We will meet at Westgate Memorial Baptist Church for map distribution.

The pick-up usually takes approximately 3 hours.

After the flags are picked up, take them to Dishman Scout Center to put the flags in the back of the scout building; the rebar is stored in the Conex box.

Summer Camp at Hale

We are going to summer camp! Yay! June 13/20. We have been able to get in at Camp Hale Scout Reservation. There will be more info to follow; please be sure to check your email.

Troop outing July 18th

Single-day troop outing. sun, surf, and sand. No better way to spend a Summer Saturday. Bring your sunscreen and be ready to have a great day!

One Last Day of Summer Fun Aug 8th

Single-day event of swimming, fun, and links on the grill. Smith Lake Water Park in Vidor. Swimsuit and flip-flops are the approved attire; you will need a buddy for the buddy system.
